Sub: Problems being faced by members due to withdrawal of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 bank notes 

 

Dear Friends, 

 

Anticipating the problems, our members will be facing in making payment at petrol pumps and ASI monuments etc. after 14th November 2016, we requested the Hon’ble Minister for Tourism and Culture to extend the date for accepting old currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 till the time supply of sufficient new bank currency is available. We have also requested to install debit/card machines at ASI monuments.

 

You must have heard on the TV news and other electronic media, the government has extended the date for accepting old currency notes of Rs. 500 and Rs. 1000 till 24th November 2016.  Also now members can withdraw by cheque/withdraw slip, an amount of Rs. 24000/- per week.

 

Hope this will ease our problem to some extent and by 24th November 2016, sufficient supply of new currency notes will be available to run our business
