Greetings from IATO !

The XXV IATO Annual Convention is now going to be held in Bengaluru, Karnataka from 3–6 September, 2009. The convention registration form and other details are enclosed herewith.

We seek active participation of all our members to make this convention successful and request for the following:-

• Your participation in the convention by registering as delegates.
  
  
• Advertisement in the IATO Manual. Advertisement details/tariffs.
  
  
• Participation in Marketing Innovation Competition.
  
  
• Taking booth in Indian Tourism Fair.
  
  
• Sponsoring Door Prizes that will be announced everyday during the business sessions.
  
  
• Sponsoring Gift items to be put into delegates’ kit bags. Please note, no printed brochures/material would be  accepted. Sample of gift proposed may be sent to IATO office for approval. 

Special Air Fare for delegates:-

• We have approached various airlines i.e. Air India, Jet Airways and Kingfisher for special fare to all registered delegates and accompanying spouse for sector Home/Bengaluru/Home. This will be intimated to you on receiving confirmation from the airlines.
  
  
• However, members are advised to make their booking on special fares offered through website as the same may be cheaper than the AD/special fare.
  
  
• Information about the convention programme, accommodation, spouse tours, post convention tours are attached.
  
  
• We have been able to get some seats on the Golden Chariot on complimentary basis and these will be given on first cum-first served basis. The seats will be allotted on sharing twin cabin basis. The offer on Golden Chariot is as follows:
  
  
  1. 10 seats from 7th to 10th September – Bangalore – Kabini – Mysore – Hassan. Return to Bangalore by surface after sightseeing.
     
     
  2. 20 seats from 10th to 13th September  - Transfer by surface to Hassan, after sight seeing board the train – Hampi – Badami – Goa drop on 13th September or return to Bangalore & drop on 14th September

Please note that for Post Convention Tours and Golden Chariot Tours i.e. for Tour no. 5 to Tour no. 13, an amount of Rs. 1000/- per person would be charged towards handling/administration charges by the Karnataka Tourism Forum. Members who are opting for these tours, kindly forward a separate cheque/draft of Rs. 1000/- per person favouring KARNATAKA TOURISM FORUM and submit the same alongwith registration form/fee at IATO office.
