Sub: Booking of Booths for ITB Berlin, 6-10 March, 2019

The Ministry of Tourism, Government of India is participating at the International Tourism Bourse (ITB), to be held in Berlin from March 6-10, 2019.

The Ministry invites stakeholders to participate in the above exhibition by booking space in the India Pavilion on a cost sharing basis with a view to marketing and promoting their tourism destinations and products. The participation fee has not been decided yet and will be conveyed in due course. The space will be offered to co-exhibitors on a “First Come First Served Basis” only to the members recognized by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India.

All stakeholders wishing to book space within the India Pavilion at ITB 2019 will be required to deposit an initial amount of Rs. 25,000/- to the Ministry of Tourism as their commitment towards participation in the event.  This amount will be submitted to the Assistant Director, Overseas Marketing Division, Ministry of Tourism, Government of India, Transport Bhavan, 1 Parliament Street, New Delhi 110 001, by way of Demand Draft or Bank Guarantee in favour of the Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, New Delhi valid for a period of 3 months, with validity to be extended thereafter till full payment for the booth is made. The same would be returned to the stakeholders as and when they make full payment for the booth(s) booked by them in the India Pavilion. In the event of any stakeholder not participating in the event after making a commitment, their Demand Draft would be encashed by the Ministry. 

Stakeholders who confirm their bookings and pay the initial deposit of Rs. 25000/- by 26th December, 2018 will be given the advantage for location of their stall, to be determined by a draw of lots.  For confirmations received thereafter, stall location will also be determined by draw of lot for the remaining booths.

The India Pavilion will have a common décor/theme and all co-exhibitors in the India Pavilion will be provided fully build up booths/stall with provision for display of publicity material only within their own booths/stall. The minimum booth/stall space is 4 sq. mtrs and in the event additional space is required, the same will be provided at a multiple of 4 sq. mtrs.

ITB being a trade show, where businesses are made through appointments and networking. It is imperative that confirmation of participation is conveyed expeditiously so as to ensure that participants do not miss out on appointments with trade partners, which is the most important component of the trade show.

Confirmations along with Demand Draft of Rs. 25000/- in favour of  Pay & Accounts Officer, Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of India, New Delhi with all the details may be sent by 26th December, 2018  to:-
